art work
My art work is a response to one of the deepest calls in my life, the call to create. I personally have a tough time respecting and loving people who only tear things down, rip things apart, or constantly critique things in life without ever creating. Stop talking about how bad things are and start helping things get better. Stop destroying, start building.
I have always had a fascination with the viewer. My work is about the interaction between the common John and Jane Doe and my art. I am not so caught up in expressing myself that I disregard what the viewer might think. To me, that is part of the appeal of selling art. Can I manipulate the viewer into having the kind of connection with my piece that will move them to buy it? Maybe it stems from a weakness, or a desire to be wanted.
